UnimeTV Repost – The AniName Exchange – Baccano!

I came up with the idea of the AniName Exchange because I wanted to see my fellow blogger’s favorite hidden gem anime, yet I got one of the most popular animes of all time. Read More…

Arpeggio of Blue Steel Review – FEFI Revisited

The concept of women having special powers in anime is nothing new, especially in shows involving magic such as Date A Live and EVERY SHOUJO EVER. However, I believe it is quite the novel idea to have women be physical manifestations of warships with enough firepower to destroy all of humanity’s military. No need to reload the page, that sentence was just said…err…written.

5 Centimeters Per Second Review

When it come to anime love stories, even all love stories in general, we can all assume the guy always gets the girl. Plastic Memories, Eureka 7, even Chobits follow this trend. We love to see the main character accomplish their ‘goal’ or at least get their happy ending, which is usually love. However, what would happen if the main character didn’t end up getting the girl?

5 Centimeters Per Second is a romance drama written, produced, and directed by a certain Mikoto Shinkai, all by himself (Jesus, man. You really had a lot on your plate.) Wolf Children Review

Wolf Children is a feature-length family drama anime movie directed by Mamoru Hosoda, and is his fourth movie, which was released in 2012 (The three others being Summer Wars, Girl Who Leapt Through Time, and The Digimon Movie: Our War Game). It is extremely family friendly, enough to the point that I actually watched it with my mother and one of her daycare kids when I originally viewed it.

But enough exposition, let’s start wolfing down Wolf Children!
